This was shot on Isla Mujeres, the hole in the rock I found to be quite interesting. In this situation the image was captured during a cloudless day, and the image is a bit over exposed. Once the light levels were adjusted, the rocks and foliage in the foreground had more detail. The color tones and sharpness were also adjusted. Finally, the cloudless sky was replaced by a sky shot on the island another day. Finally, the color saturation was increased slightly to make the image look more alive.
