This is an infrared image shot of the coastline on Isla Muejeres. Often when shooting Infrared, the image that comes directly from the camera can be less than impressive. In this case the image has a very flat feel, yet had some great depth and detail once adjusted. I chose to convert the image to a sepia tone because I felt the color tones distracted from the intensity of the image. As well as converting the image to a monochromatic tone, the levels and contrast were adjusted.
