NAIROBI
15 JUN 2024 - 16 JUN 2024
Situated along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa's most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place to be.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
16 JUN 2024 - 18 JUN 2024
Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

NAIVASHA
18 JUN 2024 - 20 JUN 2024
Located in the beautiful Kenya Rift Valley basin, Naivasha is a compact market town northwest of Nairobi, best known as a stopping point for spellbinding Lake Naivasha. Aspiring wildlife photographers and nature lovers will marvel at Lake Naivasha and its abundance of wondrous wildlife. Here visitors can spot wallowing hippo pods, clouds of vibrant birdlife, zebra and various other game.

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
20 JUN 2024 - 22 JUN 2024
One of Kenya’s undisputed natural highlights is the Masai Mara National Reserve, which sprawls across more than 1500 square kilometres of the country’s southwest. The park protects a phenomenal array of game, including elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo, as well as crocodile and hippopotamus in the Mara River. The birdlife is no less impressive, with over 450 resident bird species. However, the true highlight here is the Great Migration, recognised as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. To survive the dry months of July to September, some 1.7 million wildebeest, migrate from the parched plains of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Along with much smaller numbers of antelope, buffalo and zebra, they move to the more forgiving grasslands of the Masai Mara. In their wake come predators such as lion, hyena and cheetah, for whom these giant herds are an easy source of prey.

USA RIVER
22 JUN 2024 - 23 JUN 2024
Set 23 kilometres east of Arusha, Usa River is the capital of Tanzania’s Meru District and lies between the Ndurdoto Crater and Arusha National Park. Dotted with numerous eco-lodges and other accommodation options, the town provides an ideal base for exploring the magnificent surrounding natural landscapes. Visit the seven Momela Lakes to see vast swathes of pink flamingos, and look out for buffalos and waterbuck. The park offers an array of safari tours and the chance to see unique primates such as blue monkeys, albino baboons, and colobus monkeys (this is the only place in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit where they can be found). The spectacular Mount Meru is a fantastic achievement to climb and provides unparalleled vistas of Kilimanjaro. At Usa River’s Cultural Arts Centre, take part in drum-making and Tanzanian cooking classes or visit traditional Maasai and Meru bomas.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
23 JUN 2024 - 24 JUN 2024
Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animals, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe, and the wondrous mountains to the south.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
24 JUN 2024 - 25 JUN 2024
Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with the Lake Manyara to its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. The park supports over 400 species of bird and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Other species to spot include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, the Cape clawless otter, and the Egyptian mongoose. Don’t miss the opportunity to see thousands of flamingos on the lake, the renowned tree-climbing lions, and large families of elephants strolling through the forest.

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
25 JUN 2024 - 26 JUN 2024
Situated in the Crater Highlands in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is best known for its archaeological and geological significance, rich wildlife, and beautiful scenery. The conservation area encompasses the famous Crater, the renowned Olduvai Gorge and vast plains of grasslands, forests and mountains extending to the Serengeti. This 8000-square-kilometre protected area is recognised for its natural beauty and has been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Visitors flock here to soak up the spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater, voted as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, it is famed for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife.

SERONERA
26 JUN 2024 - 27 JUN 2024
The Seronera region, in the central Serengeti, is set directly on the Great Migration route and offers excellent viewing of this incredible annual phenomenon, when countless wildebeest flood the area and move across the plains. While migratory game populations fluctuate seasonally, Seronera is still a wildlife hotspot at other times of the year, sheltering the Big Five, among many other species. A number of small campsites provide accommodation and visitors can enjoy hot air balloon trips and walking safaris as well as guided game drives.

GRUMETI GAME RESERVE
27 JUN 2024 - 29 JUN 2024
Neighbouring Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, the Grumeti Game Reserve is idyllically positioned within the Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem. It plays an important role in the protection of the Great Migration as it supports indigenous biodiversity. Visitors can look forward to dining under the stars, exploring the magnificent Serengeti plains, hopping on a canoe trip or fishing expedition as well as enjoying exceptional all-year-round game viewing. Other commonly spotted wildlife includes: crocodile and hippo inhabiting the many meandering rivers.

OLDUVAI NDOGO | NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
25 JUN 2024 - 26 JUN 2024
"Ndogo" means "small" in Swahili - Olduvai's smaller sister is set on the Kiloki-Kopjes plateau and offers a breathtaking view over the the unique Ngorongoro Conservation area.
Halfway between the two camps, which are built about one kilometer apart, preserved and welcoming Maasai villages can be found, offering visitors a true and authentic immersion into the Masai daily life.
The camp is located close to the Olduvai Gorge and offers a unique bush experience between the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast Serengeti plains. During the migration hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras graze directly in front of the camp.
The amazing Olduvai Ndogo experience starts just before guests arrive to the camp as we make our final approach to the camp on foot with a lovely walk accompanied by our Masai guides and their donkeys.

GRUMETI HILLS | GRUMETI GAME RESERVE
27 JUN 2024 - 29 JUN 2024
The Grumeti Wildlife Management Area (WMA), bordered by Serengeti NP in the South and West, and in the North by the Grumeti Game Reserve, is arguably one of the most scenically beautiful and diverse wilderness areas. Wildlife is abundant throughout the year, attracted by the Grumeti River, which crosses the area only two kilometers away from Grumeti Hills Lodge. During May and June as well as October to December the Great Migration is passing through this area.
The lodge offers truly amazing bush experiences including walking safaris and night game drives in E-powered 4x4's – the very first in East Africa.
The lodge is built on the highest hill in the area with a breathtaking view over the Serengeti plains. The 16 tents offer great comfort, a beautiful living space with a wooden floor, and en-suite bathrooms with a shower and flushing toilet. Hot water and electricity are 100% provided by a solar system. The common stone buildings are perfectly integrated into the environment. The Swimmingpool offers refreshment and relaxation after a fantastic safari experience.
